Yet another valuable seminar on innovation management is added to the seminar series ’Practitioners in Innovation’ about innovation management. On 21 September Hans Elbek Pedersen, Senior Vice President (SAFI Innovation DuPont Nutrition and Health) presents at the fifth seminar in the series. This time focus is directed to the important issue: How has DuPont's takeover affected innovation in Danisco?

- Danisco was quite successful in terms of innovation before the takeover. Therefore, it will be interesting to learn about how DuPont has developed and exploited this, says Lars Frederiksen, Professor of Innovation Management at Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, and one of the initiators behind the seminar. He continues:

-  Before the takeover, Danisco excelled, among other things, in the development of new products and compounds, and the takeover has therefore offered DuPont the opportunity of leveraging the ongoing innovation as well as linking it more closely to the company's existing activities in order to generate valuable advantages.

Hans Elbek Pedersen's seminar is entitled ’DuPont’s takeover of Danisco – part of the future innovation towards feeding a growing world’. The seminar series ‘Practitioners in Innovation’ aims to create a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing and new partnerships in the cross field between research, the business community and students. The next seminar in the series takes place on Friday 12 October and features a presentation by Erik Hansen, Senior Director, Technology & Open Innovation, Lego.
