John Howells invited to chair a session at Fifth Annual Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Associate Professor John Howells has been invited to chair a session at the Fifth Annual Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship: U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)-Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Conference on Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship, which will be held at the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago 14-15 June 2012. 

The session will be on ‘Human Capital and Innovation’, and John Howells has also co-authored the paper ‘Inventing-around Edison’s Incandescent Lamp Patent: Evidence of the Role of Patents in Stimulating Downstream Development’, which has been accepted for presentation at the conference.
