Prestigious award and nomination for MGMT PhD at the Academy of Management Conference

Kasper Trolle Elmholdt awarded the Information Age Publishing Award for Outstanding Doctoral Paper at the 2016 Academy of Management Conference.

Kasper Trolle Elmholdt

At the 2017 Academy of Management Conference in Anaheim, Kasper Trolle Elmholdt, who recently received his PhD from the Department of Management, was awarded the ”Information Age Publishing Award for Outstanding Doctoral Paper”. This award is presented in the Management Consulting Division at the conference. Kasper was also nominated for the “William H. Newman Award for Best Paper Based on a Dissertation”. For the latter award papers from all the divisions compete.

The award and nomination was given to Kasper for the paper entitled ”When the client strikes back: Legitimacy inversion in the consulting process”. This paper comes out of Kasper’s PhD project, supervised by Mona Toft Madsen and Jørn Flohr Nielsen of the department.

”The Academy of Management is probably the most competitive conference in the field and for Kasper to come back with an award and nomination is really something. It reflects the quality of his work and I am very happy for him”, says Mona Toft Madsen.
