IRIS/SCIS Conference 2018

Welcome to IRIS41/SCIS9

 5-8 August 2018

  • Theme 2018: Digital adaptation, disruption and survival

Aarhus University warmly welcomes you to the 41st Information Systems Research Seminar (IRIS) in Scandinavia and the 9th Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems (SCIS) which take place in Odder, Denmark, 5-8 August 2018.
Both events will be held in conjunction and share programme, venue, social events and keynotes. Attendees register for participation in both IRIS41 and SCIS9. While most participants are from the Nordic countries, we welcome researchers from all parts of the world to bring along other perspectives into the discussion.

Scholarships offered for the conference

This year, the IRIS association offers scholarships for authors of countries outside the traditional IRIS countries (i.e. Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland).
The scholarships are offered in order to expand the internationality of the conference. There will be offered a maximum of three scholarships pr. conference.
Each scholarship will cover the participation and accommodation for one author.

In order to be considered for a scholarship you must:

  1. have a SCIS paper accepted, and
  2. all authors of that paper must be from outside of the four traditional IRIS countries

All accepted SCIS papers that fulfil the second requirement will automatically be considered for a scholarship.
