Ioana is going on a one year stay in the US to further advance her research on Knowledge Sharing in Globally Distributed Teams. We are very excited about this opportunity and wish her best of luck!

PhD scholar Ioana Cristina Cristea is now working together with researchers at both Stanford University and Northwestern University. Stanford ranks as the world's no. 2 on The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2012-2013, while Northwestern is no. 19. At the same time, Ioana has begun collecting the data for her PhD dissertation in the head quarters of a large Fortune 500 company located in the San Francisco Bay Area, US. Ioana will be starting her research stay at Northwestern on September 15, 2013, working with Pentair-Nugent Associate Professor Paul Leonardi for three months. She will then go to Stanford as a Scancor Visiting Student Researcher for 6 months beginning January 6, 2014, where she will be working together with associate professor and co-director Pamela Hinds at the Center on Work, Technology, & Organization in the Department of Management, Science & Engineering. Ioana will then go back to Northwestern for another 3 months, mid-September 2014 to continue her collaboration with Pentair-Nugent Associate Professor Paul Leonardi.
