Workshop to Develop the 20-years Research Program
After the Summit, the founding group of the Maasai Mara Science and Development Action went to Karen Blixen Camp in Mara North to experience the challenges of the Mara first hand and have a two day workshop. The objective was to develop a proposal for a 20 year research and development program based on the many inputs from the Summit.
White Paper and Research Proposal
A white paper describing the challenges of the Maasai Mara and recommendations for future research and development activitites will be produced based on paper abstracts, presentations from the SUMMIT and conclusions from discussions and panel debates. The Board of the Maasai Mara Science and Development Action will be editorial group for this white paper that will be distributed to governmental bodies, international organisations and foundations after the summit.
