Industrial PhD student from Department of Business Administration best communicator of research

Jon O. J. Johansen has been awarded the Industrial PhD Association's (ErhvervsPhD Foreningen) communication prize for his ability to communicate his research on various perceptions of depression. The prize comes with a cheque for DKK 16,000 and exposure on Videnskab.dk.

An industrial PhD student from the Department of Business Administration at Aarhus University, Jon O. J. Johansen, has just been awarded the Industrial PhD Association's communication prize 2013. The prize comes with a cheque for DKK 16,000.

Jon O. J. Johansen receives the prize for his ability to communicate his own research into Danes' inflexible views on depression. He accomplished this in the article 'Depression: Are we talking about the same thing?' (Depression: Taler vi om det samme?), which can be read (in Danish) at Videnskab.dk.

Jon O. J. Johansen expects to complete his PhD at the end of 2013.

About the Industrial PhD Association's communication prize
The communication competition is simply about writing about research findings within one's own field to an audience of young knowledge-hungry readers of www.videnskab.dk. Cash prizes are awarded to the three best PhD students.  The prize is sponsored by H. Lundbeck A/S, Novo Nordisk A/S, Novozymes A/S, ALECTIA, COWIfonden, the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV) and the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
