Sarah Maria Lysdal Krøtel and Michela Beretta from the Department of Business Administration at Aarhus University have been awarded travel grants for 2013/2014.

Sarah Maria Lysdal Krøtel will use her scholarship for a stay at Cardiff University from January-May 2014. Sarah’s PhD project explores how organizations navigate at the intersection of the public and private sectors. This involves studies of how public organisations engage with private sector firms and how quasi-public organisations operate and attract and retain a highly skilled workforce. While knowledge is still developing within these fields of study, Sarah’s project takes up research questions at the very frontier of current knowledge.

Michela Beretta will use her scholarship at KTH in Stockholm (September-November 2013) and Imperial College London (April-June 2014). Studying in these prestigious universities will provide Michela Beretta with the opportunity to interact with leading scholars in innovation studies and to be immersed in a vibrant international research environment. Both visits are very relevant for strengthening her PhD project, theoretically as well as empirically.
