On 25 - 27 June 2014 ICOA and Aarhus University will be hosting the PMA 2014 Conference “Designing the High-Performing Organization” in cooperation with the Performance Management Association (PMA) and Cambridge University. The PMA conference is supposed to be for both academics and practitioners.

CfL as new business partner

ICOA has teamed up with CfL (Centre for Leadership), a community of more than 1,000 Danish public and private enterprises. ICOA and CfL have designed a special day - Wednesday 25 June - for business CEOs and others involved in creating performance excellence in companies and public organizations. Thursday and Friday are primarily academic tracks.

The conference has assembled an impressive cast of thought and practice leaders with expertise ranging from organization design, to innovation, to business excellence, to sustainability – all in the context of delivering improved organizational performance and impact.

”Every CEO and leader struggles daily with execution of strategy, performance definitions and goals. We are therefore very pleased to be part of this unique conference and thus be able to offer the newest knowledge regarding essential building blocks of high performing leadership to our community leaders”, says Christina Nüssler, Area Director of CfL (Centre for Leadership). The centre will run a session at the conference and market the business conference day to their many member organizations.

“The exceptional cast of ‘been there and done that exceptionally well’ presenters is certain to deliver equally exceptional value and practical insight to the conference participants, so I am  looking very much forward to welcoming both academics and business people on June 25,” says Rick Edgeman, Professor of Sustainability & (Enterprise) Performance, Interdisciplinary Center for Organizational Architecture & AU-Herning, Aarhus University. Rick Edgeman is the lead organizer of the conference.

In the coming weeks invitations will be send out to thousands of business people, CfL members, Erhverv Aarhus, AU alumni, partners of AU Carreer and AU Executive.
