From 1 September 2018, Professor Dorthe Døjbak Håkonsson takes over the position as centre director at ICOA. 

Professor Børge Obel, who has been the head of ICOA since it was founded in January 2011, will carry on as professor at the Department of Management and affiliated with ICOA where he will run the Smart Home research project as well as the future project "Tværsektoriel indsats i eget hjem” (Cross-sectorial initiatives in people's own homes) aiming to reduce the number of admissions to emergency departments.
