ICOA at the Academy of Management 2026

ICOA had a strong presence at this year's Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting, held in Philadelphia 31 July - 4  August.

Kyosuke Tanaka served as a panelist on "Innovations in Teaching Teamwork: Challenges in (and Strategies for) Teaching Teamwork" and presented the paper "Stay or Go: How Information Infrastructures Influence Beliefs Formation" (with Dorthe Håkonsson, Erik Larsen, and Santiago Arango). 

Erik Larsen presented a related paper, "How Information Infrastructures Influence Beliefs Formation" (with Alexandra Valencia Zapata, Dorthe Håkonsson, and Kyosuke Tanaka).

Jonathan presented "The Dynamic Returns of Generative AI to Knowledge Breadth vs. Depth: Evidence from GitHub" (with Alexey Rusakov).

Dorthe Håkonsson was a keynote speaker at the PDW "Past, Present, and Future of A Behavioral Theory of the Firm: Integrating Cognition and Emotion," and co-organized the symposium "New Directions in Organization Design Research" together with Metin Sengul and John Joseph.
