MAPP Conference 2017 - Sustainability and Food Waste

The annual MAPP Conference took place on 23 November in Copenhagen. The theme of this year’s conference was food waste in the entire supply chain.

We presented the latest research findings on factors that have an impact on food Waste, looked at the situation in Denmark and Europe and demonstrated some examples of fighting food waste.

Increased demand for organic food products – based on health, local food and increased export

Susanne Pedersen, Jessica Aschemann-Witzel og John Thøgersen are co-organisers of a public seminar (in Danish) on 'Increased demand for organic food products – based on health, local food and increased export'. Here, they will present results from the project 'Sustainable Organic Development with International Trade'. The event takes place Monday 29 January 2018, 9:30-15:30 at 'Festauditoriet', Bülowsvej 17, Frederiksberg Campus, University of Copenhagen. It is a joint seminar with two other Organic RDD 2.2-projects, OrgHealth and LOCO.

Nofima pre-announces eleven PhD positions for Edulia programme

Eleven PhDs from different countries will be recruited, working in research environments with internationally recognised expertise in areas such as sensory perception, consumer sciences and sensometrics, food choice and behaviour, feeding behaviour, social marketing, consumer socialisation, and cognitive psychology.
