Guest Researchers at the Accounting Center

The Department of Management, Aarhus BSS, and the Center for Accounting were happy to welcome Peter Schäfer as an external guest in the ODA research seminar series on Thursday, May 7. He presented a working paper titled "Human Frictions in CEO Pay.” 

The visit sparked lively discussions both before and after the seminar, as colleagues at the Center for Accounting engaged with Peter on his research and broader topics in accounting and performance measurement and executive compensation. The conversations continued well beyond the seminar room.

Peter Schäfer is a Full Professor of Accounting at Technische Universität Dresden (Germany). His research focuses on performance incentives and evaluation, and his work has been published in leading journals including The Accounting Review, European Accounting Review, Journal of Banking & Finance, and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
