Accounting is both a research field and a field of practice. The Center for Accounting works closely with audit firms, companies, public organisations and professional bodies, so that research and practice can learn from each other.
How we collaborate
- Teaching and supervision — practitioners contribute to our programmes as guest lecturers and external lecturers, and students write theses in collaboration with organisations.
- Employer Panels — through the employer panels associated with our degree programmes, we maintain an ongoing dialogue with representatives from audit firms, companies and other organisations. Their insights help ensure that our programmes remain relevant to labour market needs and that our teaching reflects developments in accounting, auditing, sustainability reporting and related fields. - Events — seminars and events where research and practice meet.
- Research collaboration — data, cases and joint projects with organisations.
