Welcome to Yun Sun

We are delighted to welcome Yun Sun to the Center for Accounting, Aarhus University.

Yun joined the center on 1 September 2026 as Assistant Professor in Accounting. She recently completed her PhD at Bayes Business School, City, University of London, and previously earned degrees from Durham University and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. During her PhD, she was also a visiting PhD student at London Business School.

Yun’s research focuses on auditing, auditor behaviour, and incentive structures. Her work contributes to a growing understanding of the accounting profession and audit practice, including topics such as career dynamics among accountants. Her research has already received international recognition, including the Best PhD Paper Award at the 2025 Nordic Accounting Conference.

In addition to her research activities, Yun has several years of teaching experience in financial accounting and company valuation and has collaborated with researchers in both Denmark and the UK.

We are pleased to welcome Yun to the Center for Accounting and look forward to her contributions to our research and teaching environment.
