Richard M. Burton is Professor of Management and Organization at The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and a MINDLab Visiting Professor at ICOA. He holds a D. B. A. and an M.B.A. from the University of llinois, Urbana. He teaches MBA and PhD courses in organizational design and computational organization theory. His research interests are in organizational design and computational organization theory. Richard Burton has published several books and papers in the major journals within the area of Organizational Design. Together with Børge Obel, he is the developer of the OrgCon (Organizational Consultant), a knowledge base software program which aids the organizational designer.
