In recent years, business research and practice have faced challenges that transcend borders and have global consequences, including COVID-19, the escalating climate crisis, the ongoing digital transformation, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Adapting to such challenges is undeniably an inherent and necessary aspect of maintaining a ‘going concern’ and fulfilling associated responsibilities. Consequently, business research must continuously evolve and refine its theories and methodologies.
Recent insights from addressing these persistent global challenges highlight that most business actors, functions, and processes are highly susceptible to their impact. Equally significant, experiences have shown that small-scale or local innovative approaches are not only feasible but critically important in effectively mitigating negative effects.
NFF has long been a participatory and inclusive conference, built on the contributions of all its attendees. We invite you to play an active role in shaping an important and timely scientific programme by proposing relevant and forward-thinking tracks and symposia for the 28th NFF Conference.
