Launch of Aarhus Center on Leadership and Organizational Sustainability on 18th June 2026
On June 18th the Aarhus Center on Leadership and Organizational Sustainability launches with an inspiring afternoon of academic insights, panel discussion and a reception.
The event is open to the public and is meant to bring together researchers, managers and professionals for presentations, discussion and networking.
The event takes place in Bydauditoriet, building 1790, Universitetsbyen 41, 8000 Aarhus C.
Register for the openingPeder Tuborgh, CEO of Arla Foods, will share his perspectives on how values-based leadership can support organisational resilience and long-term sustainability. As CEO of one of the world's largest dairy cooperatives, Peder Tuborgh has steered Arla through a decade of transformation, market disruption and global competition. He will speak from experience on how values-based leadership builds the organisational resilience and long-term sustainability needed to navigate an unpredictable world.
Two members of ACLOS+ will share their insights and ideas. Center director Janka Stoker will provide an academic overview on leadership in turbulent contexts, and will focus on key insights and leadership lessons. Janka is a leading scholar in leadership and organizational behavior. In her talk, she will share what research tells us about leading in turbulent contexts — drawing out key insights and distilling leadership lessons for academics and practitioners.
Center researcher Louise Lindbjerg will share how Danish data infrastructures can support research with both academic and practical relevance. Louise’s research is at the intersection of data, organizations and leadership. She will present findings from her own work on Danish data infrastructures, showing how robust data can power research that is both academically sound and practically relevant.
