On 21 October 2024, Iben Duvald and her working group in the regional strategic research program ‘Det nære Sundhedsvæsen’ held a national network conference with over 150 participants. Through oral presentations, posters and workshops, employees, managers and researchers from the Danish healthcare sector were in dialogue about how acute ill patients can be treated in their own homes or in nursing homes. Many different organizational models were presented and discussed during the day. Iben did also present her research project ‘Cross sectorial in-home hospital treatment’ together with a nurse and an emergency physician from the hospital to which Iben is affiliated.
