As a research member of the network

If you want to join the MMSDI research network for a longer period, please send us a short descriptions of your concrete research activities for the MMSDI Board to accept. Admission criteria are active research or development projects aligned with the MMSDI mission.

This will give you access to MMSDI resources depending on availability eg. the research facilities at Karen Blixen Camp.

As an associate member of MMSDI

These are researchers who work together with MMSDI network members on concrete research activities or researchers without joining the network. I can also be stakeholders who participate in knowledge exchange activities e.g. workshops in the Mara, become a member of our facebook group and newsletter. Candidates contact the MMSDI and apply to become associated or engage in projects with members of the network. Admission criteria are active research or development projects aligned with the MMSDI mission.

Partner of MMSDI

To become a MMSDI partner with a representative at the Board requires signing of an official MoU at top level between AU and the Partner, stating that the candidate agrees with the goal and principles of MMSDI and can contribute with knowledge, projects, relations or funding. A senior representative of the Partner will be invited to join the Board of MMSDI. 

Member of MMSDI High Level Advisory Board

These members give advice to MMSDI on research and assist on disseminating our research results to policy stakeholders. Members are appointed by the MMSDI Board.
