In the ODA section (Organisation, Digitalisation and Accounting), we focus on four critical areas of research:

Our work is aimed at pushing the boundaries of knowledge in these domains, ensuring our research is both academically rigorous and highly relevant to current professional practices. We pride ourselves on our contributions to top-tier academic journals and the practical world, underlining the importance of our findings for addressing contemporary challenges. Our educational programmes are designed with this dual focus in mind, equipping our students with the insights and skills needed to excel in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Research Units

Organisations and Society

The Organisations and Society research unit studies how organisations change and adapt, interact with each other and their environment, and relate to society at large.

Digitalisation

The Digitalisation research unit focuses on the processes related to digitalisation in organisations, private and public as well as in society at large. The research unit covers the disciplines of information systems, project management, and hybrid intelligence. The unit has a multimethod approach to research including different qualitative, quantitative, and experimental methods.

Organisational Behaviour and Management

The Organisational Behaviour and Management research unit focuses on organisational behaviour, business psychology, leadership, and human resource management. By use of multiple qualitative and quantitative methods, we explore the dynamics of workplace interaction.

Accounting

The Accounting research unit focuses on creation and use of valid accounting information that can engage with and support business development and performance management at all organisational levels.

Center for Hybrid Intelligence

Exploring digital interfaces that facilitate collaboration between humans and algorithms and how humans can use advanced technology as a 21st century superpower for solving complex problems in ethical ways.
