Digitalisation

The Digitalisation research unit is mainly focused on the processes of development, adoption, and appropriation of technology in private and public organisations. The research unit has three main pillars: the first pillar that investigates the dynamics of how organisations decide, plan, and implement technology in their business processes. The second pillar investigates the actual development of hybrid intelligent systems where “hybrid” refers to human-ai configurations. The third pillar investigates the project management practices and temporary organisational structures that organisations establish to carry out complex technical projects.

The research unit is open to multiple research approaches and traditions. These include a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including ethnographies, action research, surveys, experiments and more.
