Throughout my career, I have been concerned with why organisations function so differently from what we claim they do. My method for uncovering the actual organisation is Social Network Analysis, and my research has revolved around the consequences of the actual organisational structure for factors such as wellbeing and performance.
For a large part of my career, I have been focused on our educational programmes and the well-being of our students. Therefore, I have served on the Study Board for Business Administration and Economics, held positions of Director of Studies as well as deputy head of the department for education.
