The Department of Management is part of Aarhus BSS, one of the five faculties at Aarhus University. Aarhus BSS holds the distinguished accreditations AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS for its business-related activities.

The department employs approximately 160 researchers, PhD students, research associates and 20 administrative staff. Jacob Kjær Eskildsen is head of department.

At the Department of Management, we teach and carry out research on management, corporate communication, marketing and innovation, entrepreneurship and information systems. We have an international focus in our research and degree programmes.

Our objective is to conduct high-quality research, and we give high priority to publishing our research in leading academic journals and presenting it at recognised conferences.

Communication with the business community, political decision-makers and society in general is of crucial importance for us. The knowledge available at the department is therefore shared with a wide audience at seminars and workshops and the media. Staff members are widely used as speakers at industry conferences and they keep in close contact with industry.

The Department of Management is moreover an international workplace with more than 17 different nationalities doing research together.
