Abstract
Voice Assistants (VAs) are a specific type of smart devices whose main premise is based on starting or continuing a verbal conversation with the users. Their learning ability makes them unique in terms of accomplishing a wide range of tasks (e.g. checking the weather or sending text messages) and in a variety of functional areas (e.g. entertainment or health-related issues) in a daily manner and therefore affecting users’ lives in different ways. However, considering millions of users, capturing the trends of opinions, concerns, experiences, and relationships with the VAs is not an easy task. Therefore, in this study, we investigate how social media and text mining techniques can help us to extract meaningful areas of VAs’ functionalities that people talk about.

Everyone is welcome!
