To complete the PhD study programme, Chengjiao Li presents her PhD dissertation, giving a public lecture followed by a defence.

Title of the dissertation: How Media Sentiments, Presidential Visits, and Bilateral Investment Treaties Shape Strategies and Outcomes

Theme for the defence: What are the linkages between the macro-level institutional variables and the firm-level deal variables in CBMA and how would you justify more convincingly the inferred causality theoretically and empirically from an international business perspective?
