Title: Danish Gender Equality Paradox in Leadership Roles
Boris Georgiev is an Engagement Manager at the Copenhagen office of McKinsey & Company, where he serves clients primarily in Europe across a variety of industries and functions, specializing primarily in Banking and Payments. He has been advising global clients in Payments, Banking, Asset management, Industrial services, Private Equity across topics such as merger management, transformations, business and go-to-market strategy and due diligences. In addition, he has deep interest in topics such as sustainability and economic inequality. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Boris gained his PhD at the Department of Economics, Aarhus University, where has done academic research within international trade, industrial organization and labour economics.
Boris will present a report uncovering some novel findings on what is driving the low representation of women in leadership roles in Denmark and what potential solutions can address this issue.
