We are now inaugurating our new Research Excellence Seminar Series to acknowledge and celebrate our collegues' success with publising their work in top journals (rated 4 or 4* at the Academic Journal Guide 2024).
Under the theme From Idea to Publication, you are invited to attend a seminar held by our colleagues: Panagiotis Mitkidis, Christian Truelsen Elbæk, Janis Zickfeld & Mathilde Tønnesen.
They will be presenting their achievements and experience with publishing their work in prestigious journals, such as Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, Nature Human Behavior.
“What makes a research study stand out? And how can a research group generate impactful research?"
In this talk, members of the Behavioral Economics and Business Ethics Research Group (Bε2) will outline the distinguishing features of research papers that have been successfully published in top journals over the past couple of years.
We will begin by introducing our team, our research focus and interests, and the fundamental principles that guide our work. We will highlight how innovative methodologies, novel conceptual frameworks, rigorous open science practices, and strategies for addressing discrepancies in the literature and incorporating insights from diverse academic fields contribute significantly to setting these studies apart and facilitating their acceptance in highly competitive journals.
Additionally, we will outline specific challenges encountered during the review process. Join us for a seminar where we will discuss avenues for publishing research in top journals and share insights into what makes a publication stand out.
The seminar will include a 50-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session.
P.S. Here you can find a list of articles (co-)authored by our collegues at MGMT and published in 4 or 4* journals.
Everyone is welcome!
