Zakaria (PhD, MSc, BSc, FHEA) is a postdoctorate fellow in gas hydrates. He is a seasoned research & teaching expert specializing in subsurface energy engineering and previously served as a senior assistant professor, dean's representative, and program director at Heriot-Watt University. Dedicated to advancing net-zero solutions, his work encompasses CO2-EOR, CO2 & Hydrogen storage, geothermal energy, and hydrates, with over 60 publications and significant international impact.
