Our former PhD student Christina Bidmon has won the 2019 Best Paper Award from the ONE Division of the Academy of Management for her paper "When Incumbents Change their Mind: Framing Strategic Reorientation in Emerging Fields". The qualitative study explores how the German car industry gradually shifted from opposing to supporting electric mobility over the past 25 years. Christina started to work on the study as a PhD student here at the Department of Management, and  the paper was part of the PhD dissertation that she defended in June this year. As Postdoc at Católica Lisbon, she now continues to investigate the topic with her co-author René Bohnsack who also hosted her visiting stay abroad as a PhD student.
