The team consisted of Cecilie Meier, David Stavnskaer Pedersen, Hans Marius Stemann Funk and Mathias Olesen. They won in competition with 14 other teams, including beating Universiteit von Amsterdam and Babes-Bolyai University in the final. And as if that wasn´t enough, the team also received the Social Award for outstanding spirit throughout the Competition.

Student teams in groups of 4 represent their university in solving a business challenge and presenting their solution to judges from the case company. At this event, which was held from Sept 6-8, student teams solved two business cases, one for Graincorp, and the other for QBS Insurance (both Australian companies). In the second case they worked for 24-hours straight. For Graincorp the challenge was to take advantage of biofuel and other sustainability opportunities; for QBE Insurance it was to adapt the organization in view of new technologies including AI.

The teams are accompanied by a Faculty Advisor (Associate Professor Adam Gordon from Aarhus BSS) whose role is to teach, coach and mentor the team.

Congratulations to the team from Aarhus BSS!
