My research takes place within the Center for Contemporary Cultures of Text (TEXT) and at the Department of Management (MGMT).
I am a computer scientist working on machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in management, law, and the humanities.
My research addresses the fundamentals of AI and intelligent agent systems through interdisciplinary collaboration, connecting technical NLP methods with questions from the humanities, social sciences, and law. NLP is an indispensable capability for any intelligent system, and I draw on findings from hermeneutics – for example on explanation, interpretation, and translation – to help ground it.
