IFMRS - International Food Marketing Research Symposium
IFMRS 2025 Conference
We are thrilled to announce that the International Food Marketing Research Symposium (IFMRS) 2025 will take place in the stunning city of Athens, Greece, from June 17th to 19th, 2025.
This year, IFMRS is organized in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Food, Tourism, and Leisure of The American College of Greece (ACG).
The conference will be hosted at the Alba Graduate Business School of The American College of Greece [6-8 Xenias Str, 115 28, Athens, GR - opposite Mavili Square].

Conference Program
The event kicks off with a welcome reception on Tuesday, June 17th, hosted at ACG’s Plaka building [17 Ipitou, 105 57, Plaka-Athens, GR | 2nd floor].
The main conference runs over two full days, June 18th and 19th, featuring diverse sessions on:
- Consumer Behaviour
- Marketing Strategy
- Agribusiness & Marketing
- Pricing
- Advertising/Promotion
- Sustainability/Ethics
The conference concludes with a closing dinner on Thursday evening, June 19th.
A post-conference event is planned for Friday, June 20th, with an excursion to a nearby island. More details will come.
Abstract Submission
We encourage submissions for both extended abstracts (up to 2,500 words) and short abstracts (up to 500 words). The submission deadline is April 1st, 2025.
- Extended abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings and are eligible for best paper awards.
- Short abstracts will appear in the program but not in the proceedings or awards competition.
Graduate students are encouraged to submit, with special recognition for the best student paper.
Important note: Each participant may submit only one abstract as the submitting author.
Registration
Conference registration is EUR 700 and includes:
- Conference participation
- Breaks and lunches
- Welcome reception
- Closing dinner
Accompanying guests may attend the reception and dinner for EUR 60.
The registration deadline is June 1st, 2025.
