Develop attractive programmes for student & educate attractive candidates for the sector

Commercial and Retail Management is a new educational and research initiative at the Department of Management.

The initiative was started in 2020 in close cooperation with core business stakeholders from the Danish consumer goods sector, representing both suppliers and retailers.

The aim of this new initiative is to develop new research based knowledge and research based education focusing on the many new challenges and opportunities faced by the consumer goods sector e.g. new multi-omni-channels for sale and communication, the increasing importance of big data, value chains etc.

It is our ambition

  • to develop attractive programmes for students
  • to educate attractive candidates for the sector
  • to develop new research based knowledge
  • to create an international leading research environment within consumer goods
  • to work closely with companies in the sector on both research and educational activities.
